This picture was shot in Lagos at Lasalvy studios, featuring dancer, actor and director Paolo Sisiano, with makeup by Obidike Uchechukwu. Adebayo was inspired by Paolo Sisiano after seeing his performance videos online in which he embodied different characters and personalities, a project resulting from unanticipated extra free-time during the covid-19 issued lockdown. After watching Sisiano’s acting talents in his videos, Adebayo knew he wanted to photograph him, to tell a story of human emotions and showcase the complexity of expression.
