OUR mission
With the major shifts in the media world, we will all soon be nostalgic about that incredible creative talent that was bubbling on a set and populated major glossies.
Founded in February 2018 in New York City, The Selects Gallery’s mission is to create a platform dedicated to Fashion photography to discover, learn and acquire the works of renowned international photographers.
We comb through the archives of the most iconic past and present beauty and fashion photographers to unearth their hidden gems. We leverage the power of online and offline media to share their story, artistic approach and point of view on society with a wider audience.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At The Selects Gallery, every photograph is a limited-edition piece, created in close partnership with artists and estates to ensure authenticity and market value. Each artwork comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, and we offer archival quality prints produced by renowned fine art photography printing houses under the supervision of the photographers or their estates.
Our museum-quality mounting and framing options include Dibond, Acrylic, Classic Frame, Classic Frame with Mat, and Shadow Box, all crafted to enhance the beauty and longevity of the artwork. Each frame is custom-made and assembled by hand in the US using FSC® and PEFC® certified materials, with high-quality hanging solutions to ensure your art is displayed with the utmost care and sophistication.
-
All photographs sold at The Selects Gallery are strictly limited in edition size. They are available until sold out and never reproduced again. We work in close partnership with the artists and estates as a primary market gallery. In many cases we are their exclusive gallery. We therefore control the provenance of each artwork to ensure market value.
-
The Certificate of Authenticity is a document that certifies that the sold artwork is an authentic creation by the artist and will include the edition number. In most cases, the certificate of authenticity will come separately from the mounted piece. Expertly Crafted Quality.
-
We partner with one of the fine art photography printing house with the longest history and connection to the photography world, and print under the supervision of the photographers and/or their estate. We select high end papers for their optimal rendering based on the image and mounting choice. In some cases, the print is shipped directly by the estate or the artist, and they select the printing house and paper.
-
Prints are professionally mounted on High grade acrylic, aluminum clad panels or foamcore. Every frame is made to measure and assembled by hand in the US. We use the US manufacturer Larson-Juhl for our custom size wood frames, which are FSC® and PEFC® certified.

Sustainability
The Selects Gallery strives to practice better sustainability through our manufacturing; from on-demand production, and ground shipping, to the paper we print on and the wood we use for framing. We believe that quality is a great way to be sustainable.
Each piece from the gallery is made to order, this ensures that resources are employed only when there is absolute demand from customers. When practicing on-demand production there is no room for waste and consumer demand is always met exactly.
