PHOTOGRAPHER: JACQUES OLIVAR
The sun has a special color in Cape. I work with so-called analogic film and they are so blue due to ultra violet waves. When you're in Cape, you're standing at the end of an African lands nearby the Cape of Good Hope where Bartolomeu Dias, that wasn't a fashion photographer, reached the tip of Africa in 1488. So here I was, in the land of hope, surrounded by hundreds of local smiles and kindness, with this stunning and very young Sophie. Living for a while at the end of the world, where the Atlantic Sea meets the Indian Ocean, space you out with space skies, space seas, spaced people, and heavy South West winds unloads and vacuums your twisted mind and free you like a huge blue surfer’s wave!
