Shot in 2019, this image is inspired by the fungus Oysterlings, which sprout from dead branches. The mushroom's ears grow alternately like a ladder, making it a wonderful combination of diverse shapes and white monochrome. The rise of the fungus Oysterlings signifies life coming from death. Through this project, Duong wants to portray the message: “Learn how to survive in all the most difficult -harsh situations, even when one thinks they cannot." (Chiron Duong).
