PUBLISHED IN VOGUE MAGAZINE
Established in 1892, Vogue Magazine and its 26 international editions has become the global authority on fashion, beauty and photography.
It wasn’t until 1932 when American Vogue released its first cover with a colored photograph that Vogue began to set the standards and pace of fashion photography. As illustrated covers faded out of style, legendary photographers such as Irving Penn, Richard Avedon, Cecil Beaton and many more began to shape the course of fashion photography and its place in society.
Some of Vogue’s most influential editors of the past include; Diana Vreeland, a both feared and beloved dictator of fashion, Grace Mirabella, known for her championing of the everyday woman during the 1970s era of female liberation, and the late editor of Italian Vogue, [known as the worlds top fashion magazine] Franca Sozzani, who channeled great beauty alongside a politically conscious agenda.
The magazine currently holds a global print readership of 22.5 million monthly readers and a digital readership of 86.2 million. Described by its publisher Condé Nast as ‘the fashion bible,’ a feature in Vogue guarantees the highest levels of expertise, talent, quality and innovation whilst giving the gold stamp of approval to any designer, brand, photographer, collection, and of course, to its models.
Our extensive collection of photography published in Vogue Magazine spans over 40 decades and features works by many of the worlds most renowned fashion photographers.
