This image was shot in 2015.A figure dressed in white stands beside a tree with its branches stripped of leaves, creating bony cracks against the bright backdrop of the white sky. The image radiates a sense of tranquillity and stillness as the water and sand glisten in the light. The use of contrast and shadow is typical of Greg Lotus’ style along with the abstraction of the figure which has been rendered a faceless ghost like silhouette.
