Naples, 1999, a stairway that may be leading up to a magnificent castle, and a part of its neglected garden. It looks abandoned, but there is a magical twist to it. It could very well have been captured out of one of “the Great Gatsby” scenes.

The famous French model Laetitia Casta was shot in 1994 for Marie Claire by the artist. She stands on a platform consumed by the sea and seems to embody the same forceful, feminine, and wild energy as the ocean.
