This collection of photographs from Studio 54 by Rose Hartman are some of the most iconic images of the late ’70s in New York City.
Thanks to her unique wit, Rose could capture that decisive moment of perfect composition and unguarded presence before getting noticed by the subjects. She was able to capture the most iconic celebrities in the most iconic of all nightclubs, and make this icon-ness palpable forever, contributing to the cultural consciousness and collective mystification
