With this image shot for Dior as part of their advertising campaign in 1976, Chris von Wangenheim is responsible for one of the most memorable fashion images of the decade.
It features a very audacious Lisa Taylor, one of the most celebrated models of that time, fearlessly looking at the camera, with dramatic makeup and her delicate jeweled hand clenched by the jaws of a Doberman. Some see in this photograph a sign of the fearlessness of the times or a message on the omnipresence of violence at every layer of society.
