This image features the celebrated French actress Lea Seydoux who appeared in major Hollywood films such as Inglourious Basterds, Midnight in Paris, Mission: Impossible, and as Bond girl in Spectre and will reprise the role in No Time to Die that will launch in November 2020.
It was shot in a studio in Paris in 2010 for the promotion of the movie Robin Hood. The actress was uncomfortable, and this shoot was decisive in the photographer's career as she was able to gain the actress' trust and immediately put her at ease. She created a sense of intimacy she is now well known for. "It was just Léa and I in the studio. The scene was intimate, and as soon as I began shooting, she let down her mask…" Said photographer Sylvie Castioni after the shoot.
