In this image, Richard Phibbs focuses on the legs of dancer Gonzalo Garcia, who joined New York City Ballet in October 2007 as a principal dancer. Through his unique usage of light and composition, Phibbs brings a feeling of grandeur, a theme very dear to the artist who is always on a search to connect us to the beauty and elegance that surrounds us.
