This black and white contact sheet features the artist, English singer, musician and actor, smoking a cigarette and holding a vintage camera with dyed red hair and a mustard yellow suit designed by Freddie Burretti, photographed for a magazine in Los Angeles, 1974. 

Terry O'Neill and David Bowie were friends for over 40 years, and their bond was captured in many iconic photographs. O'Neill, a renowned photographer, first met Bowie the year before, in 1973 when he was asked to photograph the musician for an album cover. From then on, the two developed a close friendship that lasted until Bowie's death in 2016.

Posthumous estate-stamped gelatin silver print, embossed. Signature and edition number digitally printed. Limited edition of 50 + 10 APs
