PHOTOGRAPHER: CHRIS VON WANGENHEIM
Bianca Jagger was more than a muse, she was the embodiment of Studio 54 glamour. Captured here by legendary fashion photographer Chris von Wangenheim, the Nicaraguan-born style icon stares directly into the lens, her striking red lips, pale makeup, and dramatic lace creating an image of unapologetic power and allure.
Von Wangenheim, famed for his provocative and cinematic fashion imagery, photographed Jagger at the height of her influence, when she was not only a Halston muse but also the undisputed queen of New York nightlife. A frequent Interview Magazine cover star and social fixture, she defined the late-1970s disco era, immortalized by moments such as her now-mythic entrance to Studio 54 on horseback.
This portrait is cultural history. It channels the spirit of an era where fashion, art, and nightlife collided, and where Bianca Jagger emerged as the ultimate seductress of Studio 54.
