The barn is an icon of Western and Midwestern regions of the USA. Its style of a barn is influenced by its location and terrain, ethnicity of family who built it, when it was built, what it would house, and the materials that are available.
In that context, the timelessness of the image through the photographer’s unique mastery of light and film feels like historic documentation. It shows the robust fragility and sense of isolation that comes with the life of running a barn.

Size choices refer to paper size. Image size is affected when it includes a border or no border. The wood frame is in addition. Dimension of the frames are:
- 1” Face, 2 1/4” Depth for black frames
- 1” Face, 2” Depth for White painted frames
