This image was shot in 1999 in Touraine, one of the traditional provinces of France for Marie-Claire. In an atmosphere between dream and reality, the focal point is on a woman standing in the middle of an old and extraordinary forest, wearing a black coat and cap. Maybe the capture of how trapped one may feel in the wild, or of how the feeling of freedom could sometimes come with threatening sensations.
