OUR NOTES ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Patrick James Michel has traveled the world to study human tribes and the energy that connects them to their environment. His photography is a testimonial of this vital energy that flows among Humans and Nature.

The artist has shot Native Americans, Surfers, Cowboys, Shamans, His own sense of energy and connection have enabled him to engage at a deeper level with individuals and tribes usually inaccessible. The photographer celebrates that intrinsic interconnection that he calls resonance in his mages.

Patrick James Michel has worked with major companies, concentrating on the worlds of fashion, surfers, and cowboys. He has had several exhibitions in Europe and his work in fashion has led him to collaborate with magazines such as Tank, Wad, Jalouse, G.Q, Milk.

In 2005 he had a published book by Steidl: Five. He has been nominated several times as art-director-photographer for the French and European Art Director Club.
