INTIMATE EVENT AT RICHARD PHIBBS STUDIO ON PORTRAITURE

The Selects Gallery organized an intimate event in the Studio of photographer Richard Phibbs.

The photographer who shot scads of celebrities such as Meryl Streep, Pedro Almodóvar, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z shared his insider tips on the best ways to take a portrait in front of a select VIP audience in a very personal setting.

The acclaimed photographer explained how to choose the best lighting and how to optimize natural light and internal lighting. He also shared the difference between shooting a family portrait and an animal or a celebrity.

Richard Phibbs’ images have this very unique and timeless style that has become over time his signature. His images can be found in the private collections of Bill Clinton, Ralph Lauren, Francis Ford Coppola, and Michael Eisner among others.
