“Fashion photography seemed the only photography that allows you to express fantasy, romance, dreams, and escapism.”
“Chic” and celebrates the flair for glamour, freedom, and creativity in fashion photography. Inspired by the Par Excellence showroom, the exhibition features images that live in the pages of glossy magazines, defined by their spontaneity, lightness, and grace. The images all have an flair that feels distinctly French, representing how international artists have internalized and been inspired by French photography, film, and art.
The curation includes renowned fashion photographers including Terry O’Neill, Jacques Olivar, Kenneth Willardt, Sylvie Castioni and up-and-coming Nigerian photographer Adebayo Jolaoso, and features the faces of supermodels Esther Canadas, Doutzen Kroes, and the iconic Brigitte Bardot.
