The Selects Gallery is pleased to announce its participation in the Hamptons Fine Art Fair in Southampton.

Our curation captures the never-ending summer that lives in our memories, which capture the serenity and unworried air of summer. The selection features prominent fashion photographers Terry O’Neill, Norman Parkinson, Robert Farber, Paul Bellaart, and Greg Kadel, Richard Phibbs and Adebayo Jolaoso. The selection includes iconic images such as Brigitte Bardot smoking a cigar while on a film set in Spain, a selection of vintage polaroid photographs by Robert Farber capturing beach scenes around the world in a format created exclusively for the fair, and nudes by Paul Bellaart and Patric Shaw which embody a feeling of freedom and vitality.

The Fair begins on July 13 with an Opening Night Vernissage with the theme “Hamptons Chic”, benefitting Guild Hall. A Mid-Summer Bastille Tea- Dance & LGBTQ+ fundraiser will also be held for the first time, benefitting the Edie Windsor & Thea Spyer Foundation.

It was great to have the visit of many of our photography collectors who have been following the gallery. We had many enthusiastic new visitors who enjoyed the curation of of cool 1970s summer vibe with some of the most iconic faces of the era from music, cinema, places.
