This iconic photograph, taken on the set of Christian Jacque’s 1971 film ‘The Legend of Frenchie King,” epitomizes Bardot’s magnetism, her natural balance between femininity and edge.

This photograph is one of the most legendary from the 1970s. It depicts style icon Bianca Jagger's 30th birthday party at Studio 54 on a white horse, capturing the flashy exuberance and excess of the time. Rose Hartman shot it five days after the iconic club opened. It was shared broadly in the press, contributing to making Studio 54 possibly the most famous nightclub in the world.

“This is one of my favorite images. I’ve never seen another photo of them kissing. It looks like they are alone, but they’re not alone. It was a perfect, intimate moment right after she got off the horse.”
This collection of photographs from Studio 54 by Rose Hartman are some of the most iconic images of the late ’70s in New York City.
This intimate portrait of Mick and Bianca Jagger, at her 30th birthday party in 1977 is a striking contrast with the environment in which it was taken, Studio 54, the global epicenter of the disco craze and New York’s scene.

This photograph featuring a vase leaves a sense of timelessness and poetry unique to Robert Farber. During the early 70s through the early 90s Farber worked with the Polaroid SX70 to create images that reflect the time period it was captured in. The series displays a unique quality of polaroid photography which then becomes a key part of the aesthetic.

PHOTOGRAPHER: ADEBAYO JOLAOSO
This series is an ode to fashion photography. For Adebayo, fashion is subject to whomever is wearing it and the the notion that fashion is specific is deeply rejected. Through this series Adebayo aimed to display the idea that fashion is simply what you make it. In this image, Adebayo employs the lens to show alternative perspectives of fashion, using the remains of seamless white paper backdrops from the studio to create and elegant flowing gown. There is an intriguing contrast between the rough, worn out surface of the staircase and the smooth, crisp fabric of the skirt. The block of white fabric acts as a blank canvas to highlight the ornate shapes of the staircase and intricate beauty of the models torso and face as she turns to face the camera.

Naples, 1999, a stairway that may be leading up to a magnificent castle, and a part of its neglected garden. It looks abandoned, but there is a magical twist to it. It could very well have been captured out of one of “the Great Gatsby” scenes.

Esther she's a star and she's got a tremendous sense of humour, she's an easy going gail and I love how she may look distant, unapproachable, wild and all that stuff. Great times in the gay Paris when we worked with open studio’s door and photographers and friends could visit me while shooting then having a drink altogether whilst playing guitar with my friend SteveHiett. Friendly atmosphere blown with the wind.
